Explanation
The introduction is the first paragraph of your essay. It should grab the reader's attention with a question, a surprising fact, or a short story, and then state your main idea. The conclusion is the last paragraph. It restates the main idea in a new way and gives the reader something to think about. Never introduce brand-new information in your conclusion. Think of your introduction as opening a door and your conclusion as gently closing it.
