The water cycle is how water moves from the Earth to the sky and back again over and over.
Explanation
The water cycle has no beginning and no end — it just keeps going. The sun heats water in oceans, lakes, and rivers, and the water evaporates into the air as water vapor. The water vapor rises, cools, and turns into tiny water drops that form clouds. This is called condensation. When the clouds get heavy enough, the water falls back to Earth as rain or snow. This is called precipitation. Then it all starts again!
